This website tells you much of what Hawthorn Small School has to offer, but it is no substitute for coming to see for yourself. A personal visit, where you will be able to speak with members of staff and with students, will help you to appreciate the unique character of the school. Prospective pupils and parents are warmly encouraged to visit.  

We understand that choosing a school for your child is a difficult decision. Our open day events help to provide a real window into life at our school, giving families a chance to explore our learning environment, meet some of our excellent teachers, facilitators and students as well as giving you the opportunity to get a feel for our ethos and whole-human approach to learning.  

The Hawthorn Small School is happy for students to join the school at any time during the academic year and  we ensure that all new pupils (and their families) feel welcomed at whatever point they start.
